Try Before You Buy
The first 12 months of your rental payments can be applied toward a Step Up Intermediate or Advanced Level Instrument.
Your instrument choice...at three price levels!
All of our Beginner Rentals are in perfect playing condition. These three choices refer to the cosmetic appearance of your instrument selection.
Standard
Standard Condition Instruments have been rented multiple times. They show signs of use (purely cosmetic!) but still plays great!
Choice
Choice Condition Instruments have been previously rented and are in like-new condition.
New
Brand New Instruments are fresh out of the box and have never been rented. You'll be the first person to play it.
Band Rental FAQs
Renting is easy! Complete our Online Rental Agreement to rent online and we’ll deliver your instrument right to your home or child’s school. *Signature required for home delivery.
Prefer to rent in person? Visit one of our locations in Fort Walton Beach, Panama City or Tallahassee. One of our knowledgeable sales associates will help you choose an appropriate instrument and accessories.
Our Rental Rates start from $22.99 and up per month depending on the type of band instrument and the options you choose. See our Rental Page for current rates.
To end a rental agreement simply return your instrument to one of our store locations. Contact us at contact@playgroundmusiccenter.com or (850) 243-2514 for questions regarding your rental agreement.
Once your instrument is returned you will lose access to that rental equity. If you keep your rental active you can build up to 12 months of rental equity to be used toward purchase of a Step Up Instrument.
No. Our philosophy has always been if your student is in the school band then you are approved.

No. This is a rent to rent agreement. Our Rent to Own option reserved for Step up Instruments.
Your Beginner Instrument Rental Agreement is month to month. Simply return it to one of our 3 locations and the contract will be cancelled.
All instruments are cleaned, sanitized and play tested to ensure a safe and perfect playing instrument.

Our M&R plan maintains the musical instrument in proper playing condition. This includes all parts and labor due to accidental damage. This policy does not cover repair costs that result from intentional damage or negligence. Restoration of finish, replacement of expendable accessories, and general cleaning are not covered. All repairs under this policy must be performed in an Playground Music Center repair department.
